This is your only opportunity to collect in person. You are asked to park on Hunua Road and a staff member will let you through the school gate into the carpark. Numbers will be restricted to 10 vehicles at any one time. One adult per family is asked to collect the resources and you must wear a FACE MASK please and maintain 2 metre distancing.

Happy Birthday Ryshala!

We had a lovely surprise today!

Ryshala's Mum and Dad and sister came to school with a HUGE birthday cake to share for Ryshala's birthday.

The cake was square, with cream and delicious pink strawberry icing!

It was a special treat to share Ryshala's birthday at school.

Letters and Sounds

Today we learned a new way to match letters to the sound a word begins with. We looked at the picture, said the word aloud, and listened to hear the first sound of the word. We then matched it with the alphabet letter.

Welcome to Term 2

 Kia koutou

It is wonderful see see our tamariki back at school and already beautifully settled into learning.

You will see our fantastic new playground as you drive past the school. It will be ready in about a month when the ground surface is finished.

We have a busy term ahead with reading, writing and maths being a big focus.

We will be learning and thinking more about our environment and ways we can make it beautiful, useable and how we can  care for it now and in the future.

An exciting whole school trip to Kelly Tarltons in week 4 is planned and we will send home more information as we get closer to the time.

Also this term, we will be inviting whanau to participate in learning discussions. We will let you know more about these soon.

Warm regards

Wendy
